How GetFacade works

GetFacade turns a photo of your house into buildable exterior designs. You upload a photo, describe what you want in plain words, and get design options you can refine, cost out, and turn into a full blueprint. That's the simplest path, though — GetFacade goes much further: capture several angles of the same house, explore many designs side by side, steer the look with reference images and sketches, and produce cost estimates and full albums. GetFacade isn't a one-off image generator — it works with your house as a whole project. The more you give it — added photos, references, sketches, and a few rounds of back-and-forth — the more precisely it understands your house and what you're after, and each new design builds on the last. Depth is where the best results come from. Pick a topic below, or read top to bottom — the topics follow the order you use them in.

Start with your brief

Before anything else, tell GetFacade what you're trying to achieve. The app designs from your brief as much as from your photo, so a clear brief is what separates a generic result from one that truly fits your house. It matters most when the photo can't speak for itself — an unfinished build that's just columns and slabs, or a house you plan to extend. The Start with your brief topic shows how.

The two ways to design

Every time you create a design you're doing one of two things: generating a brand-new variant, or refining one you already like. Most people get the best result by creating a few New variants first — fresh designs that show what's possible — then picking a favorite and refining only that one. If you start refining the very first result, you may be polishing a direction you'd never have chosen. The Two ways to design topic explains the difference.
